MoneyFront is a brand owned by MoneyMap Investment Advisors Pvt. Ltd. (Subsidiary of Investdirect Capital Services Private Limited) . The idea of MoneyMap was conceived in summer of 2015 by three school friends - Mohit Gang, Anil Bang & Puneet Mehta. All three working in different companies, yet combined with their passion for investments and markets!
The investment platform primarily offers financial advisory services to its clients via a comprehensive portfolio approach using a fully automated and paperless platform. Moneyfront uses a smart algorithm to profile the client and suggests the best Direct Plan suited to the investors’ persona.
Moneyfront believes in the philosophy that a ‘Happy client is your best advocate,' hence, as a conscious call, the company offers only Direct plan of mutual fund schemes, which has lower expense ratios as against the regular plans.
Thus, Moneyfront will be a one-stop digital solution offering comprehensive advisory to its clients. The platform offers scheme recommendations that have the lowest expense ratios (in-effect better returns) as compared to what any other broker or advisor offers in the marketplace. This is made sure by offering only Direct Plans. While the entire distribution industry offers a regular plan and makes a commission out of clients’ investments, Moneyfront will clearly stay away from this approach and work towards a client-centric model of advisory.
